In November 2013, the United Arab Emirates was selected as the host
country for the 2020 World Expo, leaving Russia, Brazil and Turkey out of
competition.The epidemic that threatened the world in 2020 confused the work
of the organizers a little and DUBAI EXPO 2020 was held in 2022, retaining
the original branding and name. The exhibition will be held from October 1 to
March 31, for 183 days. The motto of Expo 2020 in Dubai is “Connecting
Minds, Creating the Future”.The main exhibition area is 438 hectares, located
between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, not far from the southern border of Dubai with
Abu Dhabi. 192 countries are participating, with a predicted number of
visitors-25 million.Every day the exhibition is visited by more than 173,000
people from all over the world. There are more than 200 food courts in the
area.Three thematic pavilions were built around the central Al-Wasl Square:
“Opportunity”, “Mobility”, “Sustainable Development”.The emphasis of the
exhibition is on investments in such areas as industry, real estate, the
environmental sector, public relations and, of course, high technology.
The exhibition is unprecedented both in terms of scale and content, as the
countries presented their full potential and opportunities.

mentioned pavilions used fantastic digital-light solutions, artificial
intelligence. The concept of all the pavilions had a clear message,
which was expressed both in the exterior of the pavilion and in every
detail of the interior.The exhibition is filled with many cultural events,
concerts with the participation of world stars, small trade fairs,
business meetings,conferences.After March 31, the area will be
renamed District 2020 and will serve as a business complex and
educational center for the whole world.
